Laura Dunn Named to Trudeau Center Board of Directors

Dunn Marketing CEO and Chief Brand Strategist Laura Dunn has been named to the Board of Directors for the J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center in Warwick, Rhode Island. The Trudeau Center empowers individuals of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities through comprehensive support, innovative programs, and meaningful employment opportunities.
Since 1964, the Trudeau Center has served as a leading provider of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Rhode Island, and is one of the few human service organizations serving individuals at all life stages. More than 3,000 people annually from Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts are served by the Center’s programs. Those programs include:
- Early intervention
- Home and center-based children’s services
- Pathways Strategic Teaching Center, a comprehensive education and treatment program designed to maximize the independence and abilities of children and adolescents with autism and related disorders
- ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Treatment Center
- Adult day program, recreation program, and community support services
- Employment Concepts, a program that helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities find and maintain employment
- and residential programs

My brother is intellectually disabled and I’ve had the privilege of seeing what programs like the Trudeau Center’s can do for people like him my entire life.
