Dunn Marketing Wins Three 2025 Communicator Awards
We are proud to share that Dunn Marketing has been honored with three 2025 Communicator Awards by The Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, placing our agency among a vibrant community of award-winning creators, marketers, and storytellers spanning over three decades. The Communicator Awards recognize excellence, effectiveness, and innovation across all areas of communication. This season, the 31st Annual Communicator Awards celebrated the various human connections forged through communication with the theme, “Communication is Connection.”
When Empathy Meets Excellence
This year, our work was recognized across three categories:
Award of Excellence: Nonprofit Film & Video Storytelling, for The Trudeau Center
“Transforming Lives at Trudeau for 60 Years,” our 60th anniversary video for The J. Arthur Memorial Trudeau Center, celebrated 60 years of Trudeau’s transformative work empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The video, created with the help of J. Russo Productions, tells the powerful story of six decades of impact in the intellectual and developmental disabilities community in Rhode Island.
Trudeau President and CEO Dr. Al J. Vario shared, “The work we did with Dunn Marketing during our sixtieth anniversary year was truly a labor of love. The team did a beautiful job of capturing who we are as an organization and why our mission is so important.”
Award of Distinction: Out-of-Home & Environmental Campaign, for The Trudeau Center
Our “We Create Bright Futures” billboard campaign for the Trudeau Center received an Award of Distinction—proof that empathy-driven messaging works across all mediums. The billboard campaign strategically highlighted Trudeau’s services and programs at key Rhode Island locations while supporting the agency’s staff recruitment and fundraising initiatives.
Award of Distinction: Financial Services Marketing Campaign Effectiveness, for WHZ Strategic Wealth Advisors
Our “Absolute Confidence. Unwavering Partnership. For Life.” campaign for WHZ Strategic Wealth Advisors received an Award of Distinction, competing alongside industry giants including American Express, Bank of America, and AllianceBernstein.
Developed alongside creative partner Artemis Design, this omnichannel marketing campaign demonstrates how our six-step Empathy-Driven Brand Building™ process can transform financial services marketing.
